This page is about browsers and page-types supported by Kaizen Platform.

Browser Compatibility

The core function of Kaizen Platform is running Experiments, A/B tests. For this we offer 3 tools;

Each tool supports a range of browsers. The ones on the following list are guaranteed to best support your Experiments.

Supported page-types

All the following page-types are supported by Kaizen Platform.

1. Static pages

Static pages can be edited in the Kaizen Platform UI editor to create designs variations.

2. Dynamic pages using server side scripting such as perl, php, ruby, python and more.

The Kaizen Platform UI editor can create and edit the template and design elements. However, you cannot edit items that change with each new visitor.

3. Pages with Basic Authentication

Even on pages with restricted access, the UI editor lets you create variations. Just open the editor after passing the Basic Authentication.

4. Pages that inherit session information

Pages that inherit session information can be edited using the Kaizen Platform UI editor. For example forms. Open the page as you would normally do, then open the UI editor in another tab and edit the page.

5. Pages that require SSL Authentication

On pages where SSL authentication is required you can run Experiments.

Kaizen Platform UI editor does NOT support the following types of pages and contents:

1. Editing Flash files

Flash files created in Flash cannot be edited using Kaizen Platform UI editor.

2. Elements using Ajax

Dynamic elements generated by Ajax cannot be loaded or edited in Kaizen Platform UI editor.

3. Elements in an iFrame.

iframe and frameset with multiple content within one frame, cannot be edited as such with the UI editor.

Content in an iFrame is regarded as content on separate pages. When you want to edit the content of an iFrame, load the iFrame page as an independent page in the Kaizen Platform UI editor.

4. Pages that change their content while staying at the same URL

Kaizen Platform UI editor cannot edit new content that appears AFTER loading of a page has completed. At the moment, you can only use the UI editor on the initial content of a page.

FAQ

Is it possible to edit images with the Kaizen Platform UI editor?

No, you cannot edit images. The Kaizen Platform UI editor can create alternative pages by replacing whole images. To edit an image, please use separate image-editing software.

Is it possible to edit the page after a login-field?

Yes, you can.
