ROI dashboard visualizes improvement effect you have gained and potential effect you can gain by utilizing Kaizen Platform. You can also simulate cost versus effectiveness.
How to use ROI dashboard
(1) Select the goal of the report you would like to display. You need to set goal conversion value to measure improvement effect. For details please refer to setting goal CV value.
(2) Select the duration (months) of the report you would like display.
(3) Input your cost then ROI will be simulated. Cost here indicates the amount required to conduct all experiences related to the target goal out of the fee you paid to Kaizen Platform Inc.
Calculations for report
Report will be calculated per selected goal. If CVs of multiple experiences are linked to one goal, the results of all the linked experiences will be reflected to the report.
If one user lands on the goal after visiting target pages of multiple experiences, that will be counted as 1CV for each experience however the unique CV at the goal will be counted as 1.
Graph and each item
Report view shows the graph of aggregation of CVs in the selected period. The following is the types of graphs.
The number of CV assuming original design is displayed for 100%.
When original design is not used for the 2nd round and later, CV will be estimated based on the improvement rate of the latest round used the original design.
Round1: Calculate based on the actual result of the original design.
Round2: When original design is not used, CV will be estimated based on the improvement rate of the latest round used the original design.
Round3: When original design is used again, CV will be estimated based on that actual result of the original design.
The total CV of all designs used for actual rounds.
CV assuming that the design scored the highest improvement rate in each round is displayed for 100%.
Previous month ACTUAL
Actual CV of the the previous month of the selected month. If no round conducted in the previous month of the selected month, the graph will not be shown.
If you input cost, you can estimate revenue, ROI and CPA of the selected month(s) (1 to 12 months) in the future. *1 month = 30 days
This shows the list of experiences linked to the goal selected.
For details of each item, please go to “?” mark under each item.
Points to effectively utilize ROI dashboard
To calculate data accurately
If you pause or delete on-going round, measurement will be stopped during that term.
If you add or delete goal during round, ROI dashboard data may not be calculated correctly.
When there are many experiences linked to the goal or the number of CV is extremely low, CV in graph view and CV in experience list may not become consistent due to roundoff error.
When you cannot measure final goal CV
When you cannot measure final goal CV or final CV is too small and you to evaluate the test round, you may want to reset middle CV as the goal. In such case, middle goal CV value will be set as follows:
Final goal CV value x (transition rate from middle goal to final goal)
Ex: If final goal CV value is JPY1,000 and the transition rate from middle goal to final goal is 30%, set as follows:
Middle goal CV value = JPY1,000 x 30% = JPY 300
